Our stay at Casa couldn't of been more perfect!. The accommodation is a very high standard but still maintains the 'homely feeling'. The owners we feel have thought of everything to make the stay just perfect! Board games for all the family, a games room & a fabulous pool! Lovely BBQ area which we made good use of!. Well kept gardens & fruit trees - which provided us with our lemons , cherries & oranges!. We really did fall in love with Casa & the beautiful surrounding area which is totally unspoilt. Highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a relaxing , peaceful holiday In central Portugal. We will definitely be returning . Thank you

Lovely little villa in a sunny part of Portugal. Will need a car to get around though. The villa was clean and had running hot water due to solar panels. Everything you could need was provided in the villa, including Wi-Fi and dvd player with a selection of dvds and a lot of books. The pool was stunning. There was a nice little supermarket a few miles away in Mortagua. We went to the local markets(fieras) and ate piri piri chicken with the locals. The nearest large city is Coimbra.
I would recommend this villa and a holiday in Portugal to anyone.

“What a wonderful break”
Reviewed 29 April 2017 for a stay in October 2016

We were looking for family time, peace and tranquility but with stuff to do in the day time. We found it all here. The house was gorgeous, the pool area was perfect. The boys didn't want to leave the accommodation.
But it's well worth checking out the extensive book of things to do that Marta and George have prepared, its full of ideas. We can thoroughly recommend the Bussaco Palace for afternoon tea/lunch and a wander. And hire bikes for a trip along the wide meandering river, its glorious.
We had everything we needed in the house, infact we even came home and bought the same coffee machine it was so good.
Thanks Marta and George and your fab team. We will be back x

Hi Vicky! Thank you for your lovely review! I think your boys have passed into village folk law, swimming in late October! You would be very, very welcome to stay again at any point - just book your flights! Marta :)

What can I say about this gem , other than beautiful. Fell in love with it as soon as we walked through the gates. This is not a holiday let, it is a home and as such was really well equipped. Not 6 of everything and threadbare sheets. Well stocked kitchen, lovely bedding and towels. Couldn't fault it. The views from the bedrooms stunning, the pool and BBQ area a delight, and the games room a bonus. Didn't want to leave.

We fell in love the minute we opened the gate. This charming home offers an in ground pool, well furnished living area, games room and lots of outdoor seating.
We spent lazy days in and around the pool and beautiful evenings enjoying dinner on the bbq under the stars. Centrally located for access to Viseu (we loved) Coimbra (university city) and day trips to the coast and Duoro Vally.
Highly recommend this lovely home.
