What can I say an absolutely wonderful place to stay, gorgeous scenery, and a very cosy barn conversion, hosts Chris and mark couldn’t of done any more to make us welcome, beautiful homemade cake, and our 9 year old son was thrilled to bits with his Easter gift, only wish we could of stayed longer, we will definitely return xx
Booked The Stables as the reviews were very good what an amazing place to stay. Chris & Mark are absolutely lovely people and a friendly welcome awaits anyone that books here. A lovely cake baked and essentials supplied. We all felt very relaxed and comfy and really enjoyed our walks in the woods. Highly recommend The Stables to anyone wanting some where different to stay. Thank you a fantastic weekend had.
Reluctant to give this place a good review because we would like it to be readily available in future! But facts are facts! Located in a lovely semi rural area and accessed via electric gates giving secure parking. A very warm welcome with home baking. Well equipped and cleaning materials provided. Spotlessly clean. Spacious and comfortable. No dishwasher but if you think there is no washer you will find it and a tumble dryer downstairs in the "stable". We feel we have made new friends and look forward to a return visit.
Chris and Mark's seemingly effortless hospitality is something which should be "bottled" and distributed to everyone involved in the Hospitality industry .They are a class act and have created a unique and lovely place to stay .We needed somewhere close to our Grandchildren to help out with school pick up's and after busy and full days it was so nice to return to The Stables .It's a great comfy and welcoming cottage with everything we needed .A fab Surprise Cake and bottle of wine were added touches from this lovely couple .Only hope next time we need to book they are not full !!
Thank you Chris and Mark it was great to meet you and thank you for looking after us so well Annie and Ken xx
