We chose this hotel on the strength of previous reviews and we weren't disappointed. The location is perfect, it overlooks Porto Vecchio, a picture postcard marina with several cafes/restaurants and a 2 minute walk takes you to several other squares with many other places to eat, drink and shop and with the ferry terminal just around the corner, the location really is perfect.
The staff are pleasant and helpful, we had one of the shared terrace rooms which aren't huge but clean and serviced every day. There is aircon which was not too noisy and a 'minibar' which wasn't expensive. Although it's set in an area which can be quite busy, noise was not an issue at night as the electric window shutters kept it quite quiet even through some thunderstorms.
Breakfast is standard continental with a good variety on offer (although this does reduce towards the end) with waitress service for beverages. You don't have to eat inside but if eating out watch for the nesting swifts and cheeky sparrows.
All in all the stay was hard to fault.More
