We only stayed done night to attend a wedding in the town. The town is small, but very pretty. The hotel is a bit difficult to find, but we found it eventually. We had a large room with a sitting room by the doors that opened to the terrace overlooking the mountains. The bathroom is extremely small.... I am not a big or tall person and found it to be tough to shower... Views a re beautiful, staff was a little slow to help with things.

Stayed here for two nights prior to walking the Amalfi coast. Superior room very large and comfortable. Good location and staff very helpful. Breakfast not good, no healthy options. Pity there is no tea making facilities in the room. Also would like to have had robes.

We stayed for 7 days at the beginning of May. We loved the location of this hotel, in fact it couldn't have been better for a break in Ravello. Parking is also provided, a bonus. Our room was a good size with lovely arch shaped French windows that opened up to a small balcony that gave us a good view of Skala. The bed however, was VERY uncomfortable, 2 single mattresses pushed together. The mattresses felt very old and poor quality, so much so that I didn't sleep very well for the first 3 nights before exhaustion crept in. The bathroom was nice, good size with a large shower, no bath (wife would have preferred one.) Towels felt a little tired. Plenty of wardrobe space. Breakfast was nothing special but OK. The bar (as well as breakfast) is in the basement. The only time I would think to use the bar is if you are sunbathing by the pool. No restaurant, 10% discount is offered at the sister hotel Villa Maria. The pool is not heated, early May is not warm enough for swimming!! .....I tried brrrrr!
The Hotel reception staff varied a great deal, some were very nice, helpful and happy while some were indifferent and looked miserable.
Day 3 whilst relaxing by the pool; a pneumatic drill started up (maintenance work) I spoke to reception and they stopped the worker and about an hour later provided us with 2 glasses of prosecco by way of an apology for the disturbance, An hour later the drilling started again. Overall I would recommend this Hotel just purely for it's location, the 4 star rating is generous and feels a bit like a B&B.

Stayed 4 nights in a decent-sized room overlooking the pool and the main square . Staff all very pleasant , room comfortable enough , bathroom large and everything kept pretty clean . Room could have done with a lounge chair/ settee and the furnishings generally were not old enough to be truly antique but too old to be particularly attractive. all a little dark and tired. Least pleasing public room was the breakfast dining area which appeared to be in the basement and had the most peculiar mish-mash of decorative styles.
Probably sounds like I'm moaning and I really shouldn't be as it was all OK , perhaps that's the way hotels are in that part of the world . Was just a tad disappointed in what bills itself as a 4 star hotel and charges 4 star prices.

Room Tip: Ask for sea-view or pool view . Several friends and family staying there were quite disappointed with lack of view.
