“Truly Magical”

The villa was everything we could have wished for, with the most spectacular views.
Alessandro was there to meet us on arrival and arranged for our luggage to be brought to the villa, he was incredibly helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The villa is everything it says it is on the website, very spacious and clean, with plenty of towels and bed linen, and everything we needed for our 2 week stay, with family and friends. Praiano is a lovely little village with shops and cafes, and some lovely restaurants, the locals made us feel very welcome. We had an amazing holiday, in a truly magical part of Italy, one which we shall always have fond memories of. Thank you Alessandro, we truly hope to return one day.

“An excellent property in a beautiful setting”

A comfortable, spacious, well-appointed villa with a large garden and stunning views overlooking Positano and out to Capri. There's quality food available from the local shops. Try the butcher and fishmonger for great food for the BBQ and Luca's deli/supermarket for everything else. Alessandro, the owner could not have been more helpful, greeting us on our arrival and ensuring that we were well settled in. There are a lot of steps, so just take your time - you are after all on holiday. Local buses pass along the main road below which were cheap and scenic and there is the option to hire scooters for a truly Italian experience. Highly recommended.

“Wonderful Holiday”
Reviewed 2 July 2015 for a stay in June 2015

Our family of 6 stayed at this Apartment to celebrate my husband's 60th Birthday. We could not have chosen a more perfect location on the Amalfi Coast. The apartment is clean and spacious all bedrooms are en suite with a lovely patio and garden to relax in and sit and look at the amazing views. Yes the steps are tough but it is so worth it. Alessandro met us on arrival and went through everything we needed to know, he was so helpful from start to finish. We used the BBQ a couple of times and also eat at the local restaurants, our favourite was Hotel Smeraldo and cocktails at the Bar Le Fioriere. We found it easier to book a taxi through Rosario for transfers and also booked a taxi to take us to Pompeii. We arranged a boat trip to Capri through Luca at the supermarket, would also recommend. A truly wonderful family holiday. Thank you Alessandro

“A really enjoyable villa”

The six of us spent a week at the villa and had a great time. The owner, Alessandro, was waiting for us at the bus stop and helped us with the luggage. He showed us around the villa and explained helpful things about the villa and services in the town. He also provided us with a local phone for contacting him and making reservations etc. In short, getting acquainted with the property and the town was a breeze thanks to Alessandro.

The villa was very clean, well furnished and spacious. The house has its own source of fresh water, so there's no need to carry water from the village. The kitchen had pretty much everything we could think of; we cooked a few times and also used the grill in the yard a couple of times.

The view is absolutely amazing. The house is quite high on a cliff, and of course there is also a downside to that: the 200 steps are no joke, but if you are in a decent shape you won't have a problem. There's a shop that offers free home delivery of groceries, but we didn't feel the need to use it.

The town of Praiano has a good variety of services and restaurants. There's a minimarket right at the base of the stairs leading up to the villa and a take-away pizzeria with good prices and a large selection of excellent pizzas is also close by. A larger grocery shop (Tutto per Tutti) is about a kilometer away. Several good dining places are within walking distance.

Praiano is situated in a good location with connections to Amalfi, Positano, Ravello, Sorrento and Capri, but the local buses can be full at times and traveling the narrow mountain roads can take a surprising amount of time. It is advisable to reserve a full day for visiting Capri, for example.

There's not much room for improvement, but internet access would certainly be nice, and a pool would be great!

In summary, a wonderful villa in a great place on the Amalfi coast. Would definitely come again.
