Stopped here on the way to Chianti for wine tastings. Had a nice cappuccino and cornetto. Very friendly.

we came here 3 out of the days we were in the area. 2 times for dinner. and 1 time just for a beverage. service was very friendly. food was great.
In fact on our annual visit to Italy we ate at this Osteria 3 times. I won't review 3 times as all would be the same. Great food and great hospitable service. Excellent menu with a broad offering of Tuscan dishes. We have stopped here since their opening year and Pit Stop never disappoints. We will see you next year.
Ate here one evening and one lunchtime during our recent stay in the area. Food typical Tuscan fare, basic but good, lovely homemade desserts. Waitress really helpful and pleasant. Cover charge only €1 charged at both dinner and snacks at lunch-time, complimentary appetiser and bread at dinner but not lunch-time.
For our group of six, Bar Osteria Pit Stop was our favourite place for dinner in the Montepulciano area. Get a table on the veranda, order a litre (or two) of the fantastic house wine, enjoy the delicious local cooking, great service and stay for a homemade dessert, espresso and maybe an Amaro to finish off the meal! The prices were more than reasonable, service was attentive and the food was excellent. We went twice during our one week stay and hope to return some day.
