We stopped in for a picnic lunch on a weekday. You are provided a basket with essentials to eat your lunch. Then provided with fresh bread, select your cheese, meat, and drinks. Take your basket outside to enjoy the great fresh food and amazing scenery looking out onto the hilltop of Montepulciano. We were blown away by how simple lunch was but how wonderful the entire experience was! Would highly recommend for anyone wanting a simple great tasting lunch in a beautiful setting.

Stopped by during my trip to Tuscany. Read the TripAdvisor reviews and gave it a try. Good choice for a different lunch and with high quality stuff. Recommend!

What a great late morning we spent here! The surrounding country is calendar level visuals for Tuscany everywhere you look. The farm stands on a tall knoll with splendid views on all sides. The tasting room is perfectly natural and perfectly Tuscan, REAL in every regard. And the Pecorino is WORLD CLASS. The presentation is tasty and educational. After the tasting (ours included wine) you will- you really will- want to buy some of their cheese to take with you and, of course, there's a retail shop just down the hill from the tasting room. You can purchase meat, wine and beer to go with your cheese purchase as well. My favorites were the "Fresco" and the "Alle Vinacce". But do the tasting because you'll find your own favorites that way.

One other enlightening thing that I have to mention. The nearby winery with whom they paired for their wine/cheese tasting is 100% "Green". Everything they do, they do under their own power. I'm a US small government advocate and so am wary of government FORCED greeness. But here they have a profitable business model that takes advantage of renewables. WE could learn a lesson from their rational and symbiotic implementation design.

Such a nice concept where you buy all kind of different cheese, jams, meats, wine and beer. You get bread and accessories to have a great picnic with a view of Montepulciano. The personnel in the store can give advise what to buy. This was such a unique concept during our Italy trip. Not to mention the great value! Must visit for lunch in the area.
