We had the most wonderful time at La Fraternita. Gino was kind and accommodating. Our apartment was beautiful and we loved the restoration and materials used in the apartment. The windows were huge and brought the outdoors in, but also had shutters to darken the room for sleeping. The property was beautifully kept and had great views. We were lucky enough to meet a good friend of Gino's who made my Tuscan experience over the top! I would recommend this quiet getaway to everybody. Great location, 5 minute drive to Montepulciano city center, and great views of the city.

Room Tip: We stayed in La Rosa which had great views of Montepulciano. All apartments have private area outside.

Outdated, worn-out and self-repaired (with low quality and cheap material) accommodation; noisy beds with very old bed linen, lingering doors, moistened and cracked walls, uncomfortable bathroom, moldy umbrellas,… The accommodation comes with numerous rules and no touristic information at all. The owner is continuously checking your back and making remarks. This creates a very uncomfortable and unwelcome atmosphere, especially with children.
Not the ingredients for an enjoyable and relaxing holiday, especially not in this price range and region

We have been coming here for over 10 years. La Fraternita is heaven on earth. The ambiance is stunniing. There are great views all around. We have been here both in Spring and in Fall both seasons are beautiful in their own way. The owners could not be nicer or more helpful. The rooms are immaculate and over the years they have been maintained perfectly. It is a short drive to Montepulciano and there are many excellent restaurants nearby. The pool is pristine. People come here to relax and enjoy the quiet. I highly recommend this stunning piece of heaven.

Room Tip: You select your apartment based on your space requirements. Each apartment has a stunning view.

My family has been coming here for many years. It is as beautiful and well maintained as over 10 years ago! The location is perfect for days trips to other beautiful cities in Tuscany. If you simply want to relax and enjoy the simple life, this is the place. It is quiet and has a beautiful relaxing view of Montepulciano from several of the apartments. There are tables and chairs for outside dining. It's clean, comfortable and 'Tuscan charming' inside. The pool is well maintained and has multiple chaises. Love Gino's welcoming smile with each return to his lovely agriturisimo!

access to this property is down an unmade track about 2-3km.
the track is loose stone and has many potholes, gullies and rocks. you do not want to take a hire car down this road.
wi-fi doesn't work. property does not have its own wf-fi
we'd booked for 7 nights, paid upfront for 2 and stayed just one night. when i told gino we were leaving he just shrugged his shoulders.
he speaks only italian which when you are running a business attracting international visitors seems rather unhelpful.
there were one or two other problems which i won't dwell on but but i would not recommend this place.
can't understand the positive reviews

Room Tip: my tip is don't stay here
