“EXCELLENT VILLA”

We were a group of 3 couples and our stay at this villa was excellent. The photos accurately portray this wonderful accommodation. It is large and well equipped and served by a very industrious housekeeper, Roshan, who went out of his way to provide whatever we needed. We enjoyed our stay very much. We took several trips into Sorrento and the rest of the Amalfi coast. This location is well situated to enjoy all the attractions along the coast to say nothing of the magical views from the villa itself.

“Terriffic Vacation”

We spent two weeks at the Villa Biancalisa from late July to mid-August. The property was as attractive and inviting as depicted in the marketing material, but the setting surpassed our expectations. Being able to view the Bay of Naples and Capri Island from all the bedrooms and terraces was magical. Sipping my espresso on the terrace in the early morning, watching the sun rise on Capri with the occasional boat traffic passing my view was unforgettable. The tranquil setting is another benefit. Unlike being in Sorrento, which can be noisy and packed with cars in high season, the Villa is a quiet retreat.

The staff members with Acampora Travel were helpful in arranging excursions and special services. The attentive housekeeper was next door and kept the property clean with a daily service. A special treat were the dinner's prepared onsite by Concetta (be sure to request her tiramisu).

My only word of caution is access. The street to the property is a steep and narrow two lane road with neighborhood cars parallel parked on one of the lanes. This makes for some interesting navigation. When two cars meet, one has to pull up or back into a vacant parallel parking spot or driveway to allow the other car to pass. My rented minivan was too large to park in front of the property, but the Villa has a reserved space in a gated lot about 100 yards from the property. The housekeeper helped us with luggage, etc. on arrival and departure. Even with this novel access, I would definitely recommend Villa Biancalisa.as a great vacation spot.

“Italian Luxury”

For my 40th birthday my husband took me to this beautiful Villa, along with 6 of our dearest friends. I could not have been more pleased with this place. Located on the coast the views from every bedroom were amazing! The sunsets could only be described as epic. Everything was clean and amenities were wonderful. We loved sipping local wine and lemoncello on the terrace as the sun set on a perfect Italian day.
My only caution to people staying here would be accessibility. We walked down to Marina della Lobra where there was a few restaurants/bars. (Angelo's, Funiculi Funicula, etc). And we ate up the hill at a place called Riccardo Fncischiello that was pretty good. The walk to the marina was approx. 15 minutes. We are all in good physical condition and the walk home was uphill and stairs and not easy. I would say it wouldn't be easy for elderly or anyone with any kind of physical handicap. We did hire a driver to take us to Positano one day and to Pompeii on another day. Both excursions were approximately an hour's drive each way. I would highly recommend this Villa to anyone wanting to experience true luxury and beautiful scenery. If you are fine with being "homebodies" then the villa is everything you could ever want.

“A perfect location and a beautiful villa”
Reviewed 28 September 2015 for a stay in September 2015

We stayed here for a week in early September on honeymoon. The villa is well located, immaculate, spacious and beautiful. There's a lift in the villa if mobility is a problem or if you have heavy suitcases! The views from the bedrooms and terraces are wonderful (and there are 3 huge terraces!) We had a brilliant day trip to Pompeii and Vesuvius, which Acampora Travel helped us to arrange, and it was easy to get to sorrento by bus (1.50 euro each way and 15 mins journey) to join the tour group. As it was such a relaxing and peaceful spot we struggled to drag ourselves away from the villa for the day though! It's only a few minutes walk down to the beach from the villa and we enjoyed a few swims in the sea and some walks to the port and the restaurants. If you're wondering whether to book this place, don't hesitate, it's such a special place to stay.

“Perfecto in Sorrento”

This is a Beautiful villa, in a perfect location close to the town square and 10 min drive into Sorrento. The Ocean is a short walk down with its own private "Beachy" area. The rooms are all very cozy with unbelievable views of the ocean from your own balcony. The amenities also include a gorgeous infinity pool with waterfall. And also your own pizza oven if the mood should strike! There is even your own elevator if going up and down the stairs is not your thing. The villa is kept in Impeccable shape. The owners of the villa are professionals who want nothing more than for you to experience a trip of a lifetime! Which is exactly what it was.
