Really liked this hotel. My only disappointment was that I didn't spend some more time here.
My wife and I went with our 19 month old son and it was ideal for him. A small plunge pool outside, an indoor pool, seconds from the lake, comprehensive breakfast, garden area outside our apartment. The list goes on.
Breakfast was very nice and well stocked. Omelettes made fresh upon request and plenty of fresh fruit available too.
It's a 20 minute gentle walk in to Malcesine or a 2 minute taxi ride. I'd definitely return here, in face, that's what I'm going to try and do, on the strength of this one visit.

We have just returned from a week at this fabulous hotel. We had two lakeside junior suites which being next to each other gave our teenage boys independence but also proximity to Mum and Dad. The room was comfortable with a super kingsize bed (this was split into singles for our boys and a drencher shower that had lashings of hot water. The gardens are extensive which is unusual for this part of the world, as space is at a premium due to the local geology. This meant that you never felt any pressure of people unlike some of the more central town hotels. The Hotel is situated on the Val Di Sogno which although being part of Lake Garda is small enough to allow more comfortable lake swimming. It is a pleasant 30 minutes walk from town along the lake front or a very short bus ride away.

The food was excellent. We had a half board package, so breakfast and dinner were included. Breakfast was outside on the terrace and there are not many more spectacular views to be had worldwide whilst you eat. It was buffet style (apart from fresh cooked eggs) but was first rate and included just about anything you could want. Dinner was equally good and was waiter served. On the half board package the choice was a little limited but in truth we never struggled to choose and never had anything but a delicious meal. Meal timings are a little limited with breakfast not starting until 8:00 am. However I am sure that if you wanted to be out before this the hotel would provide.

All the staff were excellent. They spoke very good English and and nothing was too much trouble. Having stayed at hotels all over the world the staff here were easily the best. They all took real pride in their jobs and it was a pleasure to see.

My first time at this great hotel and won't be the last. This hotel is simply outstanding. From our first arrival until our departure the staff were first class and so friendly. English is spoken throughout and also French, German and Italian.
The views are superb as was our room which was situated 40yards from the main building in the annexe. The room was very large with a lovely lake view balcony. Sheets and towels were changed on a daily basis wit sheets being turned down in the evening.
This hotel is not cheap but well worth the money for the food and views.

Room tip: Lake view rooms are best.

Had an amazing stay at this hotel for my 40th birthday in May 2017,

The hotel is really good quality, very clean and nothing was too much trouble for the staff, we only used the hotel for the breakfasts but there was great quality food available and waiter service for drinks, also a chef that was making smoothies fried eggs etc,

In the evenings the bar was great but also fairly quiet which we enjoyed, there is a supermarket a few minutes walk if you prefer to get things to enjoy on the balcony of the room!

I would definitely recommend this hotel, I asked to extend my booking in the last day and kept the room till checkout with out problem, the lakes are stunning as are the views from the hotels rooms!

Had a great stay! Enjoy

We stayed for seven nights at this hotel which has a fantastic backdrop of mountains on three sides and lake Garda to the front.
On arrival we were allocated a room in the annex which always rings alarm bells and on this occasion we were right to be skeptical as the room turned out to be small with its entrance opposite the hotels laundry! The rooms livable space ( excluding a small passagway and smallish bathroom ) was approx four an a half metres by three metres which included the bed and the dressing table. There was only enough room for the double bed and two side tables between the walls with a small area at the end of the bed in front of the dressing table and a wardrobe to the side that looked as if it had been installed as an after thought. We tried for another room but without success. We had paid a supplement for a 'lake facing room' but could just see the lake through the trees so be aware lake facing does not mean a good lake view. The room also did not have tea and coffee making facilities. There was however a nice grassed terrace area outside the room with a table and chairs and sun beds further down the lawn. Two weeks in this room would not be an option, perhaps we were just unlucky.
Apart from the room we found this hotel to be of a good standard with very good food, helpful staff and very well located about two kilometers outside Malcesine which can be easily walked along the promenade right next to the lake.
The outside facilities had plenty of sun beds in a tiered garden all overlooking the lake which was easily accessible via gates at the bottom. The outside pool was more of a plunge pool in size but the inside pool was of a good size and standard and always warm.
One other thing to bear in mind if you arrive or leave in a coach you will have to drag your cases about a hundred metres down or up the road to the hotel as it cannot be accessed by coach.

Room tip: Try to find out the room size you will be allocated
