This cozy little hotel is literally two minutes from the beach. The room was small but nice and clean. The hosts are great people who run almost all errands around the hotel themselves, are incredibly helpful, and serve excellent breakfast in the morning with the best croissants I've ever tried in my life.

Charming family run hotel.Tucked one street in from the beach, which kept the music and traffic noise at a minimum, this spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated lobby with Sicilian ceramics and a comfortable seating area with leather couches and large television. The breakfast was buffet style with large assortment of fruit juices, homemade tortes, assorted meats, cheeses, yogurts, rolls, eggs and fruits. The coffee was delivered hot and fresh in large carafes and refilled as we lingered planning our day. We dined in one evening and were delighted with fresh shrimp salad, spaghetti with white clam sauce, and then swordfish fresh and delicious. Our room was large with a queen bed and a single bed, desk and armoire, television as well as a bathroom with plenty of towels and very clean. Conchetta, our hostess was available day and night and our meal was made by Salvatore her husband. The kitchen was impeccably clean. The beach was seconds away, as well as shopping, dancing and great views all around. When Conchetta learned that we had to leave a day early due to a funeral several hours away she packed us a lunch for the road. Then as we were leaving my husband asked if he could buy a towel (he loved the thick cotton); Conchetta gave it to him! Overall this was a comfortable, homey experience. Very relaxing.

Stayed here on a group walking holiday in 2016. Excellent location near the beach and some bars and bus stops. Nice beach for swimming. Staff very friendly and looked after us all well - great veggie meals for me every night! Near Etna and Taormina for trips.

Stayed here with part of an organised group on a Breakfast and Dinner basis. I shared a room with a friend, we had room 311 which comprised of one double bed and one single bed in a separate part of the room, we had a "balcony" which was really a door opening out for a few cm over the back of town towards Taormina in the distance. We had a clothes line to dry our swimsuits on. The bathroom is a good size, plentiful hot water, our rather worn out shower head was replaced in the stay and was superb after this with three settings.
The aircon was helpful at night time.
Breakfast, as others have said was simple, fruit, yoghurts, hard boiled eggs, ham, cheese, bread rolls, fruit juice and some amazing cakes. The hostess brings copious amounts of tea of coffee to the table.
From the outside this does not look the best hotel for food but the dinners , cooked by the hostess' son were excellent, 4 courses of small plates, tasty thoughful food, as a vegetarian I was delighted to be given so much variety, the others in the group were impressed with the seafood and meat. We were all stuffed after the 4 courses.
WIne comes in a half litre or litre and you can buy bottles of water. This was great value.
The hotel is situated about 1.5 minutes back from the beach, it is behind another building an over a road but still. you can swim and be back for a shower in moments without needing to dry off and change on the beach.
There are bars, restaurants and shops right by the hotel.
Giardini Naxos is a lovely working resort, not slick or fancy, just full of practical charm and lots of families walking on the promenade in the evening.
There is a supermarket about 7 minutes walk from the hotel and frequent buses to Taormina for 3 Euros return just up the street.
Do not be put off by the outward appearance of this hotel. It is low key but will meet all your needs.

Room Tip: Perhaps ask to see the rooms to check if you have outside view.

Just back from a week staying in this lovely, simple hotel in Giardini Naxos. It is located a couple of yards from a nice sandy beach, a rarity along this coastline, so you could literally get from the front door to the sea in two minutes. The entire hotel is spotlessly clean and the rooms are quite large with a decent sized bathroom. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast on offer with bread warm from the bakery across the road, cakes, fruit, yoghurts, cheese and meats. The lady of the house will bring fresh coffee and tea directly to you when you take your seat. The the weather was very warm during our stay and the air conditioning worked very well. The ambience of the hotel is friendly and welcoming and and if we were to return to this part of Sicily we would definitely stay in this hotel. Very good value for money.
