I returned home a few days ago from another stay at the charming Hotel Palladio. This time I travelled with my wife as I led a group of 23 persons, who all commented very positively about their wonderful experience. Everyone was impressed by the staff's genuine care and attentiveness to every detail in providing a sterling service at a time of year that is still busy in this Sicilian paradise. The location of the hotel right on the seafront promenade, also with a bus stop across the road was much appreciated. 15 minutes to Taormina and under an hour to Catania for a few euro was a bonus. The abundance of home-cooked food, as well as a sumptuous healthy breakfast to start the day was also well praised. Thank you signora Caterina for your warm hospitality, as well as for that of your very hard working staff that seem more like family.

First visit to this hotel and hoping it won't be my last! The hotel is situated right on the sea front and close to the bus stop going to both Taormina and Catania. The staff here just outdid themselves and were a delight, wanting to fulfill my every request. Abundant and delicious food was served and the rooms had all one could need including the very necessary airconditioning. Highly recommended!

We stayed here as a family for a week. Our room was spacious with a sea view and view of the street (and petrol station of course!). When we first booked the hotel it was for the two of us. When our daughter asked to join us for part of our stay the hotel was able to provide an extra bed which worked really well for us. We accepted the hotel's offer of half board and what worked very well too, especially as they were able to provide me with gluten free food - not something that is easily found in Sicily. The food really was excellent, a gastromic delight! It was also really interesting to find out more about “La libera terra”. The location of the hotel really works well for the beach a stone’s throw away (the hotel provides towels and umbrellas), and it was easy to get up to Taormina and also to the railway station - we took the train to Acireale for the day (only because we had stayed in Acireale on previous holidays and thought it would be good to see it by train). When we booked this hotel we seriously considered an alternative option - Castello di San Marco. We checked the Castello di San Marco out during our stay and it was much more stuffy and remote and so we are glad we chose the Palladio.

A very positive experience. Great location with buses to Taormina just across the road (don't even think about taking the car up there!). Clean, comfortable and spacious room. Wonderful breakfast with large choice of Sicilian dishes served on the top floor terrace, with views over the sparkling sea. We also enjoyed two evening neals here with delicious, well cooked local specialities. Private and public beach also just across the road, with towels and parasol provided by the hotel. Highly recommended.
