The hotel is tastefully decorated. The staff were always available but not overbearing. Good range of fresh food for breakfast.we upgraded to a lake view room which was well worth the extra, we spent many an afternoon on our balcony overlooking the pool with total privacy.

Room tip: Lake view with balcony

Loved this beautiful boutique hotel in Garda! We had a superior lake view room to the side, room 236, quite and peaceful, with a lovely balcony and great view of the lake! Very spacious and spotlessly clean.

All the staff were lovely but special mention to the girls on reception and the lovely young barman. Always so friendly and helpful.

Lovely breakfast, had the omelettes made to order every morning and the delicious heart shaped dounuts!!

The hotel is so close to the ferry dock and to Garda. Really excellent location. Sitting on the terrace, with the beautiful views , is absolute heaven!!! So glad we picked this hotel for our first visit to Lake Garda . It definitely won’t be our last!

Went with friends for a week, from the moment we arrived until we left the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The room was spotless and had partial lake view and was nicely appointed. The pool was good and always had beds available. The food at breakfast and in the evening could not be faulted. The town of Garda was a 5 to 10 min stroll. We will definitely return.

This was our first holiday to Garda and we were so pleased that we chose this hotel. It is in a really good location, with a lovely view of the lake and just a few minutes walk from the centre of Garda. All of the staff were friendly and the hotel is spotlessly clean. We stayed half board and the food in the restaurant is excellent. Although it is situated near a road, we didn't really notice the traffic noise. We could hear the air con units during the night from our room, but this didn't really keep us awake until our last night. The beds were very comfortable and our room was spacious. We would most definitely stay here again

we had a wonderful week in this hotel. The staff were so helpful and friendly, the rooms were spotless and the hotel was very comfortable....we had a great view from our balcony over the pool and the lake. we were on half board here and we really couldnt find fault with the delicious food...the selection at breakfast and the evening meal was excellent and the flavours were delicious. the welcome glass of prosecco on our first evening was a nice surprise and we liked the fact that we sat at the same table each evening. The restaurant manager and all the restaurant staff were lovely and very easy to get on with. Although we did laze by the beautiful pool on a few afternoons we really enjoyed the short walk into Garda, the beautiful boat trips, the cable car ride in Malcesine, and the hiring of bicycles and cycling along the beautiful lake...I think we fell in love with Lake Garda and the Excelsior Hotel and we are already planning our next holiday there
