I discovered Fra Pappina by chance, and in fact who finds this restaurant finds a real Italian food treasure.
Since the first time I went into this place I was wandered by the dishes, the place, the atmosphere and the staff in it.
It passed more or less 4 years since that first time, but me and my wife continue to go there for a romantic dinner, or for a special event, or everytime we want to spent our time in a good place with good food and good staff.
To be honest "good" is not enough: here everything is excellent and SPECIAL.
The dishes are unique reciepes of the Chef Alessandra, fish-based and coming from the Italian food tradition. They are recipes full of taste, passion, with absolutely fresh ingredients, good portions and you want to try them all!
Alessandra is a real Italian chef: she well knows the Italian food tradition, territories, ingredients, and she can comine tradition with something new, creative and unique. She is REALLY passionated about his work, and all the restaurant demonstrate his passion and love for food and people.
The staff is unique too: absolutely kind, quick, very focused on you and on your well-being. Sergio is a real italian maître than can see every detail of the restaurant and can anticipate your needs and will feel you like you are at your home.
My suggestion is to go at least once in a lifetime to Fra Pappina if you are in the Milan, Como or Erba area. You will never forget it. But remember to book before going: of course, is a very requested place!
