This hotel was really nice. It is located almost right smack in the center of the town. We came late, as we were driving from Austria and taking a scenic tour over HimmelJoch ( recomend it ) into Italy. We were greeted by a receptionist who was very friendly! He took the time to serve us some cold beer , and answer our questions about the area, even though it was late and he probably wanted to go to bed. He had a lot of knowledge about the area, and we wanted to go climbing the next day. Via Ferrata ( by wire) is a really cool way to climb in the mountains, and the hotel staff gave us maps over the best routes and personal advice from experience. They also gave us directions to the sporting goods store, where we could get climbing gear. The rooms were simple, but clean and nice. I think this hotel gives a lot of value for the money. The daytime receptionist, was an old man who didnt speak a word english, but we came to an agreement and we left smiling. Will consider this hotel for our planned return in the winter!

We caught the Cortina express from Venice and enjoyed a 3 night stay in Hotel Bellaria. It is a smaller hotel in Cortina within walking distance to the town and a lovely walking track, old railway line, right behind the hotel. Lorenzo and his family offer great service and advice. The rooms are clean and spacious, a little older but that just adds to the character, and the bathroom with a shower was good. The hotel provides are good breakfast which makes it very good value for the price.

Room Tip: free wifi is available down at reception

We spent a week at Hotel Bellaria in August as a very comfortable basecamp for hiking and exploring the Dolomites. Lorenzo, his parents, and staff are incredibly welcoming and attentive. The rooms are comfortable and clean, with lots of storage (something I really appreciate when traveling with the family). The common areas of the hotel welcome socializing, and the food is wonderful. Dinners were excellent and spending time in the dining room with other long-term guests was part of what made our stay special. Great location walking distance to the town center.

We just returned from two weeks in the Dolomites region, and had a wonderful experience staying at the Hotel Bellaria in Cortina. The location (easy walk to center of town) was great, the welcome and service were excellent, and the food (we did half-board) was delicious, generous and beautifully served. Our room was charming with a lovely view - we could not have asked for anything more. The owners are delightful and very informative about area hiking - which was magnificent. We strongly recommend this marvelous, immaculate, Tyrolean-inspired hotel.

Room Tip: We had a room with a balcony with gorgeous views.
