I’ve stayed in a lot of ski hotels across Italy and Europe. What makes the Majoni stand out to me is that the staff are all so friendly and helpful; it’s amazing what a difference a smile and politeness does to enhance ones stay. The food was also a very pleasant surprise. Normally ski hotel buffets can be quite basic, with little choice and bland tasteless food; however, not the Majoni. Each evening the chef would proudly announce his offerings and watch keenly for feedback, genuinely wanting to please the guests with great Italian food. There were at least half a dozen starters and mains each evening, which you could pick and choose as much as you liked. The quality of the food was towards the high end, with portions as big as your appetite allowed. Breakfast was similar, with a good choice of hot and cold on the buffet. We had booked through Inghams and talking to the others on the return to the airport it was clear that the quality and choice of food at the Majoni was better than where all the others had stayed. Other info: great location, right next to where the ski bus stopped and pretty much at the start of the high street. Nice rooms, with large double bed, plenty of space and a good bath + shower. Would definitely stay here again if I return to Cortina.

I stayed here for a boys skiing holiday at the end of Jan. the hotel was clean and the staff helpful and polite. I would say the hotel was more 3 than 4 star as it’s looking tired in places. The breakfast was basic, the pastries fresh but no English breakfast. The bacon was not like cooked ham!

The ski room does not have boot warmers but was adequate. The hotel is located a good 10 min walk from the town but the bus for the ski slopes stops more or less outside and runs every 15 min.

Cortina is not a town if you like Apres ski with very few bars.

Skiing in Cortina was brilliant with well pisted slopes.

Stayed in Hotel Majoni for a week in January 2018. The Hotel was clean and comfortable and in a great central location in Cortina. The staff were very helpful and polite, and answered any questions. There was a great buffet breakfast and buffet evening meal. Also afternoon tea in the bar. The ski bus stop was 50 yards from the front door, which made it easy to get to and from the slopes.
I would definitely stay at the Hotel Majoni again when I next visit Cortina.

I was not sure what to expect with this hotel, because the cost was low compared to other Cortina hotels and I didn't see many reviews. However, we were very pleased with this hotel!! The rooms were clean and had much storage space for luggage and clothing. The mountain views from our windows were beautiful. The hotel had spacious common areas on ground floor to relax if you wanted. The breakfast was good and each room had assigned table for the entire stay, and came with excellent service. The lobby staff was very helpful. Only issue we had is that we needed to check out early on our departure and the staff wasn't available until around 7:30am.

My wife and I stayed at the Majoni for a week during the English February half term having booked a package with a Inghams in the UK. The hotel is a classic, elegant four star over about four floors and is well maintained.

The location is ideal being only a couple of minutes walk from the Corsa Italia which is the main pedestrian thoroughfare with chic Italian shopping. There are a couple of bars and tea shops very near the hotel.

Our room at the front of the hotel on the second floor was a decent size, with a good bathroom. freshly decorated, comfortable and well equipped. We had a balcony with lovely views of Cortina and the mountains beyond. The hotel public areas were spacious and clean with different areas for reading or playing cards with sofas, comfy chairs. There was a separate ski room for storing skis and boot, although small it was perfectly adequate. There was free wi-fi which worked throughout the hotel.

We had half board with breakfast and dinner. Food was very good, the buffet dinners changed every night and featured local dishes. The Italian wine list was interesting and reasonably priced. The Italian dress code for dinner is smarter than on a chalet holiday. Breakfast was what you would expect.

The staff, including the reception, housekeeping, restaurant, and chef (who served the buffet) were all very friendly, spoke good English and were happy to help and give us information.

There is a ski bus stop almost in front of hotel with buses to all the ski areas (numbers 3 and 8). Most people in Cortina drive to the lifts but with a bus stop this close its better to take the bus even if you have a car as parking at some of the ski lifts become crowded. We had a great weeks ski-ing in the resort, with well groomed pistes and no lift queues. There were plenty of good quality reasonably priced mountain restaurants to choose from.

We had a lovely week and considered the whole experience as value for money.
