We were celebrating my birthday - a milestone and wanted to stay somewhere special. We could not have made a more perfect choice!

We were the only guests in the house so had private use of the large living room filled with bric a brac, antiques and personal historic family photos. A friend flew over from France to celebrate with us so we were able to invite her for drinks in the lounge.

Our room was large with a big comfortable bed, crisp white sheets and the only "real" pillows we've encountered since arriving in Italy. The bedroom furniture was antique some not usable but beautiful. There was a large corner bath tub and heaps of soft white towels. It was pure luxury.

Our hostess was Federicke the niece of the owner and she was delightful and took pains to converse with us in English. She prepared and served our breakfast, the first morning on the terrace. Everything was fresh, the croissants from a local baker, freshly boiled eggs served hot, wonderful fresh ricotta, strawberries and cherries along with a selection of other fruit. Quality local olive oil pressed by the family, gorgeous thick yoghurt served in it's own jar, olives, parma ham and a whole lot more.

What a fantastic place to celebrate my special birthday. Ten stars!

Spent a week in this fabulous B & B, it is an amazing historic apartment in the centre of Cefalu. We would highly recommend a stay in this splendid enchanting accommodation, it is steeped in family history. The family are so helpful and gave some great recommendations for local restaurants and things to do during stay in Cefalu.
Each day started with a wonderful breakfast which was prepared by Frederica, she is a wonderful hostess and varied the breakfast each day with different meats, cheeses, pastries, freshly made juices, coffee and the most wonderful home made marmalades.
The accomadation is right in the centre, excellent location for the local historic sights, great restaurants, bars and only a 5 minute stroll to a beautiful beach.

Room tip: There is just one grand double bedroom with a balcony over looking a typical narrow street. It is quiet with no noise from the street below.

What can I say: You stay in a gorgeous private palazzo in the center of the old town, just minutes away from a beautiful beach and the duomo. Location couldn't be any better. Owner and staff are fantastic, friendly and helpful, breakfast rich and delicious on a private terrace. My wife had some medical issues so the day we left, we could use the room for her to rest even after check-out, without any extra charges. Room is super lovely, including balcony and separate bathroom. Everything you find here is of highest quality.
We loved it!

This is an old palazzo placed in the heart of old town , in a quiet street . You will sleep alone in this impressive place filled with beautiful furnitures , family portraits and everything you can imagine in such an historical house . In the morning a superb mediterranean breakfast will be served to you in an inner terrasse . You can not get better attentions and feel more at home than in the Barone Agnello's house . Price you pay absolutely worth it .

both because of astonishing place itself going back ages in history as well as caring hosts, Nicola and Giovanni (not to forget delicious breakfasts on Frederica) - stay at this B&B (7 stars at least, I might guess?) is unforgettable. We we're lucky to stay here for whole week and it was even harder to leave. Yes, location is perfect in every aspect, cleanliness, quietness, wi-fi and all other issues one can possibly think about are super. but for most of all we will remember people. Nicola, Giovanni, Frederica - thank you once again! mille grazie!
