“We want to go there again .....”

We spent our holiday in this beautiful estate in Villa Wisteria from 14 to 29 July (two families: 4 adults and three girls 4, 6 and 12 years old). The house is very original. It has its own soul - the old, kind and welcoming Sicilian soul. All the rooms are furnished and decorated with great taste and love. Every item is in place and has its meaning and history.
Many thanks to Dario and Agnes for our wonderful holiday! There was not a single question that would be left unnoticed or ignored. We got real help whether it concerned our stay in the villa or giving useful advice on planning our itinerary. One can only dream of such hospitable hosts!
Special thanks to their wonderful dogs that kept us safe, entertained the children and often accompanied us on our walks to the sea, miraculously distinguishing "friends" from “aliens”.
The estate has a large lemon orchard. With Dario’s permission we could pick fragrant lemons straight from the trees. After the lemon orchard there follows an olive grove and, further, a pine alley which gives way to a wonderful beach. It’s only 200-meter walk but what a pleasant way! Little kids could walk from the beach to the house on their own. During our stay there we could see only few people on the beach.
When, on returning back to Moscow, we showed the pictures taken during our vacation to our friends, all of them, without exception, wondered where we had managed to find such a paradise in Sicily nowadays.
Thanks to Dario’s advice we were able to see many beautiful parts of Sicily. We fell in love with this warm and sunny island.
For breakfast we had fresh bread and croissants with different fillings and a couple of evenings, with Dario’s help again, we ordered local delicious pizza. Near the house there is a pizzeria where you can enjoy Italian cuisine. Within a ten-minute walk or a five-minute drive there is a supermarket, "ARD", where you can buy any products you like; a railway station, from which you can reach the capital of Sicily - Palermo. You can visit Cefalu - a beautiful town located not far from the villa. This town has a wonderful sandy beach with very gentle entrance into the water. For small children it’s a real paradise. A sufficient number of different shops can satisfy every lover of shopping.
We would like to thank Dario and Agnes for the best vacation for the last few years. We still have a vivid recollection of our stay in Sicily. Moreover, we'd like to visit this place again and next time we are going to take our friends with us.

Absolutelly perfect this place, we fall in love with the house which is an old country house (renovated as new). Also the owners Dario and Agnes are greate helpfull people but, the most stuning is the extremely large garden and private access to the beach.

“Beautiful villa among olive and lemon trees 150m to the beach”

The villa is a very charming place, with a beautiful and spacious landhouse kitchen, big living room, 2 bath rooms, two trerrasses, free wifi internet and more. From the terrasse we had a beautiful view on the whole garden with palm trees, olive trees and lemon trees. The (white sand) beach was very empty, clean and the water was just beautiful- in peak season we counted 15 people on the beach close by. The contact with the owner (Dario) was from the beginning, when we made the booking, during the stay until the end very kind and helpful.

“The perfect place to relax with family and friends”
Reviewed 24 July 2012 for a stay in July 2012

The house is on a large property with several cottages, but plenty of privacy for all. The owner goes out of his way to make his guests comfortable, whether it’s by providing additional deck chairs or sunshades or helpful information, and takes great care of the property by fixing things without delay and cultivating a great variety of plants. The short walk to the beach took us past a row of pomegranates, a lemon grove, an ancient carob, a eucalyptus and many other different trees and cactuses. It is simply a beautiful place. The house itself is comfortable and very well equipped, but it is its surroundings that make it special and a treat for all senses. Additional benefits: we had bread and water delivered every morning, there is a great pizza restaurant close by and the fruit stall when you turn off the main road towards Salinelle has excellent fruit and vegetables.
