Eating and drinking in this establishment was fine, and certainly tok the edge off the fact that you are in the middle of nowhere, and the room (Hotel Villa Bartolini) is a sauna. The locally brewed beers are not bad, but unlikely to win any Indie Brewfest awards. Rather comically, my first choice of an IPA was "off", and my second choice took the barman, incidentally the owner of the brewery as well, nearly 25 mins to pull a pint; either he forgot me or his pipes were out of thwack. Either way, low on professionalism, especially as I had virtually finished my meal by the time the beer arrived. The food was pretty tasty, but a ridiculously small portion for the price, but saved by an excellent desrert. The also have a pizza oven which might have been an easier option, but certainly all things considered, ok if you can't be bothered to drive out to the local Burger King. (There are also nearby a 50's Themed Burger Joint, and pseudo Bavarian Beer Stube restaurant chain). The Belgian beer on tap here is probably a reason to have a lazy night in.
