Marco S. is a very friendly and courteous person.
He reacted to my questions within no time, this was really amazing.
The villa is located very next to the beach (5 minute walk) and provides very good equipment (barbecue, air conditioning, washing machine, table tennis, etc.) and is in the midst of old pines (good for shadow...).
High season in Baia Domizia starts somewhere in the mid of June normally - during our visit (end of may) this area was kind of abandoned. One the one hand the beach was empty (maybe 5 people, we really enjoyed it) on the other hand a lot of restaurants, bars, shops and so on were closed during our visit. But in the end this was really not a point because 5km away life took place in small villages like Cellole.
Baia Domizia itself is a convinient location. It just needs 1h to exicting places like Pompeij, Herculaneo or the Campi Flegrei. There are so many more exciting places like Paestum (1,5h away by car), the palast in Caserta, Rome (2h by train) and so on and so on.
The most positive thing was the friendliness of all the people. We always had the feeling being welcome - in contrast to other 'touristic' places we've been before. We just speak a few words and some rudimentary phrases but everybody tried to help us when help was needed.
We want to visit this place again definitely.
