Sat outside on the terrace on a warm evening with a nice view of the bay and sea. Service was slow but venue not packed out. Had two main courses - the fish and scallops on saffron crushed potatoes was ok. The fish and crab thermadour was the better dish. Desserts were nice but overpriced.

We stoped for lunch, having heard great things about the place. We were both disappointed with the food. Over cooked shellfish. I had a salad with my fish, the fish was over done and under seasoned, and a bit of iceberg, cucumber and sliced tomatoes hasn't passed for a salad since 1980. Bit of a case of pub grub at restaurant prices.

Eating outside on a warm evening was delightful. It was fairly busy, but not packed. On arrival it took a couple of minutes before anyone acknowledged us, and that set the
tone for the rest of the evening. The food is made from great ingredients, but the overall dishes were a little disappointing - other flavours dominating the fish, which we had. We felt the price was on the high side for what we ate. Despite that, we had a pleasant evening.

Can't comment on the food, looked OK to be fair. Because we didn't actually eat here.
This is because we came in on a pretty quiet sunday afternoon - so the staff had no excuse not to attend to us. Had to ask for a menu. Zombie like waitress handed me two. Went for a squirt, came back and my partner had gone to order, to be told, go and sit down, we take orders from the table. So we sat there for a further 5 minutes waiting - we were passed by another zombie a few times, showed no interest in taking an order. So we buggered off and went to the pier House instead, much better. Friendly and welcoming.

Friendly welcoming and popular spot, sit outside to take in the harbour views and you will be offered rugs to keep warm! Service was excellent, and my hommus and cod and chips were great. I certainly would recommend.
