We arrived as a group of 10 people arriving at different times making it very awkward for the chalet hosts, however Lee and Kevin just took it all in their stride. The snow conditions in the whole Alps were awful even for early season, but with access to Paradiski area that included Les Arc and La Plagne the wide range of lifts including the Vanoise Express got us high up the mountain quickly where the snow was faultless for most of the stay allowing us a week of good skiing on a whole range of different slopes!
However the main praise goes to Kevin and Lee the wonderful chalet hosts and Jon and Tamir who looked after us cooking all sorts of amazing foods and managing faultlessly to keep a group of athletes and fat lads full for all the trip. The food ranged from local raclette to Hungarian goulash.
We were made to feel part of the family from day one with introduction to their two kids and amazing dog Deano who often accompanied us on walks around the local area. They were always around whenever anything was needed and often accompanied us for the evening meal.
The facilities of the chalet could also not be faulted! All the rooms were huge with space for whole families if needed as well as the sauna and Jacuzzi that just couldn't be missed after a long day on the slopes.
All in all the whole group had a magnificent stay in a wonderful chalet made even more memorable but Kevin and Lee, if I was passing through the area I would not hesitate to call in for a chat and I would love to come and stay again>
Thank you very much Lee and Kevin for our stay!
Chalet de la Vanoise is a lovely, homely chalet with lots of facilities and spacious suites, some of which have super views. Easy access to the whole of the Paradiski area from a small, pretty village. Owner run, and it shows. Very helpful and friendly before and during the holiday.
The food was outstanding and dinner was a highlight with an excellent atmosphere around the table with the other guests.
Great location close to an abundance of ski slopes, very friendly, warm hospitable hosts, went out their way to help and last but not least amazing food!
Chalet is clean, spacious and welcoming. Rooms are bigger than other chalets I have been to and hot-tub/Sauna/Disco shower are good after a long day skiing. Food is superb and overall service, from organisation, communication and helpfulness is at a level well above what you expect. The location is ideal as you can get to both Les Arc and La Plagne with 1 to 2 chair lifts - so huge area to ski in.
Friendly, warm and flexible, ideal for small groups/families to large groups.
Totally recommend this Chalet - thanks Lee and Kevin for helping to make this the best skiing holiday ever.

My son and I stayed from the 27th Feb and although we have ski'd in La Plagne and Montchavin on many occasions it was our first time in a catered chalet. Lee and Kevin were wonderful hosts and made us feel very welcome indeed. The other families who were staying were also lovely people which made the experience all the more enjoyable.
The food which was on offer was really second to none and as my son put it
The location is superb and would I
definitely recommend a visit to the hot tub after a hard days skiing especially if it snowing! I do recommend taking some flip flops as the stone and snow is a little cold under foot!
The chalet itself is lovely and welcoming and is more than spacious for your holiday with plenty to do for the kids in the games room.
All in all, we had a fantastic time and after this experience we are sold on the catered chalet and will definitely be visiting Lee and Kevin again
