Beautiful villa - but too remote for us.
Arrived at villa late in the night. No welcome from manager or welcome pack. Keys just left outside. Not even a bottle of water in the fridge, so in the pitch black, at 11.30pm, we had to go back to civilisation, to find water and general supplies. Not really what you need after travelling and driving in a strange place, in the dark............absolutely nothing around to walk to either.
The villa is on 3 levels, so totally inappropriate for infirm or disabled people . I would also worry if I had small children, with this amount of stairs (quite steep). Does not say anywhere in the description it's on 3 levels - but the toilets are on the bottom level.
Kitchen was well equipped with gadgets - Nespresso machine :0) but only 2 saucepans and very few basic utensils. Fab huge cooker, but you actually couldn't cook a family meal here.
The biggest bug bare - no air con (my fault). Couldn't leave windows open because of mossies, so sweltering at night.
Much further out than we thought, though probably not that far in "actual miles" but description said car not necessary - OMG it most certainly is. Make sure you book one, otherwise you will fill abandoned once the taxi has gone..
No information pack about area, things to do, emergency numbers, etc, so you feel very much on your own.
Small things (apart from the air con) that can easily be put right but put a slight :0( on the holiday experience. Beautiful villa but, more details required on description.
