“Fantastic”
Review of Finnygook Beach

Finnygook Beach
Reviewed 15 December 2016 via mobile

A cold day with the sun peeping through rolling banks of mist. Fantastic beach for skimming stones. Everywhere you look are perfectly sized discs! I have marked the beach down by one star for the dog muck that irresponsible owners leave behind. The beach is dog friendly during the winter months but that's no excuse

Finnygook Beach is perfect for a stroll or just watching the waves! A nice cafe at the end too, always helps!

Beautiful views and great rock pools which my children loved. Quite course sand which makes good castles (!) and beautiful pebbles too. Toilets and cafe in the car park.

My family love Portwrinkle and Finnygook Beach, surrounded by high cliffs and great rock pools its pretty unspoilt. Wonderful for exploring pools for crabs and critters, hunting for shells and beach combing when the tide is out. However it's not a sandy beach being made up of a more course grit and lots of rocks so not one for serious sand castle builders, plus if you have little ones or anyone with mobility challenges then the steep climb back to the car parks will be difficult. All in all a lovely Cornish Beach with a great cliff top cafe (The Jolly Roger)

This beach is a short walk from the road. It is secluded and sheltered. It is picturesque with its wild, rugged rock formations. It is very clean as they have a programme for guests to pick up litter.
