Had a lovely large room overlooking the car Park. Extremely comfortable bed and the bathroom was spotless.
There was a lamp missing from the bedside and the furniture was old, dated and marked, as was the carpet, but again very clean.
Lots of tea, coffee and milk, something which is usually lacking in a lot of hotels as well as good biscuit choices!
We had a late breakfast, but there was still plenty of choice and the staff on duty didn't rush us.
All of the staff were warm and genuine and very helpful when needed. Couldn't fault them.
The locality of the hotel for Chester is great and it is reasonably priced. We appreciate that upgrading it is likely to necessitate increasing prices.
Didnt use the spa or swimming pool, so can't comment.More
