Theo and his team are very professional, they organized very interesting activities with local tribes. We visited even a local wedding and other activities. Highly recommend to work with them. Special thanks to Brian, Cheers!

It's a tough one to pick the favourite activity. Hiking mount Moroto was an incredible experience! The vegetation, birds, meeting young cattle keepers with their herds, the cave that shield cattles during raining seasons...total immersion ! The cheery on the cake was swimming in one of the spring river/pond !

Meeting the Karamojong community in the evening was a great way to wind up the day. Thanks to Lokutae (our amazing tour guide) we could communicate with the people, grinding the sorghum, our children playing with their fellows, and the energetic fun dancing under the sunset was divine !

Pieter from Karatunga guided my partner and I for a two day trek to the Moroto mountain. We slept on the mountain ridge with our tent and enjoyed interesting chats, great view points and held a delicious cooking battle. I would recommend the tour for people who love hiking in the mountains and learning about Karamojan culture. Pieter as a guide was a great contact with the karamojans in the mountains, was a very knowledgeable and passionate guide.

I would highly recommend if you go Karamoja, that Kara-Tunga will support you with your every need. Mount moroto hiking is a super experience over three days (hard work, but worth it!). The team were so supportive and it was wonderful to have food and tents set up at the end of each day when we arrived at our camp sites.
Thank you for a wonderful experience I won’t forget, especially the stunning views!!

If you love hiking, this is the place to go !!
We had an amaizing experience with karatunga guides on the mountain. Beautiful scenary, great camping equipement and rewarding campfire food in the evening. Karatunga staff is so friendly and dedicated, so if you're heading to karamoja search no more ;) make sure to stay at the karatubga tented camp in Moroto to relax after the hike, for confortable lodging and good atmosphere and food.
