Description: Overlooking the sweeping Peak Park towards the Cheshire plain, the restaurant and tearoom is an ideal place to relax and unwind in a friendly atmosphere. In winter we always have a roaring fire and in summer you can sit outside and soak in the breathtaking views.

Enjoyed the drive through the Peaks to get to the Restaurant and Tearoom, we were fortunate with the weather it was very sunny and were able to sit outside and enjoy the views, had a snack and tea and was enjoyed the whole experience. Very friendly atmosphere and service lovely.

This is a fantastic setting and we'd travelled specifically to visit it but we rather wishes we hadn't. The staff are smiley and service was prompt but the cake we had was variously dry or over-complicated. Hmm
I almost hate to bring this up but as the waitress delivered my cutlery, she put it down with her thumb in the middle of my spoon. Noooooo! Please train your staff better!

We were looking for a cafe near Macclesfield with excellent views and found this for an afternoon lunch. Set in the beautiful high landscape of the Peak District, this cafe is a true hidden gem.

There is indoor and outdoor seating but best to make a reservation if you are set on eating in, as it can get busy sometimes.

Cute cafe with yummy tea and scones. We shared a Mozzarella and pesto panini with chips and it was scrummy.

There is a coal fire inside, which would look lovely in the Winter!

Excellent menu, all food freshly made.
Very good gluten free choice.
Only open certain days and can get busy as it is very popular

Called for coffee and cakes. Lovely selection to be found here. Had carrot cake and lemon drizzle, with lovely cappuccino . Such a lovely lunch selection also. Can get busy with cyclists etc. Very pleasant staff waiting on. A great place to warm up.
