We had a lovely Easter weekend at Brae Cottage, the cottage is lovely and cosy with amazing views, Sarah (owner) was very helpful and responded to all our questions including offering to be available for a Tesco delivery..
We will be back..

“Great holiday cottage”
Reviewed 11 April 2017 for a stay in April 2017

A lovely holiday home. Clean, modern, well equipped, well looked after, and plenty of room for a family of 6. House is on a hillside and has a splendid view over the Ythan river valley. I've rented several places in the area (and used to live in Aberdeenshire) and Brae cottage is the nicest. Definitely worth a return visit.

“Beautiful cottage with great views in a peaceful location!”
Reviewed 4 March 2017 for a stay in October 2016

Brae Cottage is beautifully presented, cosy, clean and had everything we needed for our stay with our 5 year old son. Sarah was very welcoming and provided some groceries to get us started before we could get to the shops. There were fantastic views across the fields and down the valley; and it was a pleasant walk down into the village for a welcome meal at the local pub. The combination of a real fire in the evening and a sun room for bright days was perfect for the time of year!

“Beautiful house and great grounds”
Reviewed 9 November 2016 for a stay in December 2015

The house was comfortable and well furnished, the house owner was welcoming and lovely. The sun room was beautiful and overlooked the amazing Scottish countryside. The location is a little remote for access to Abderdeen but fantastic for a restful rural holiday.

Thankyou for taking the trouble to review the cottage. I am delighted you have such a positive memory of your stay and are pleased to share it with others.
For those who wish to go to the city we find aberdeen is easily reached within an hour and new roads are currently being built which will make this journey quicker for the future. We have sizeable towns such as Inverurie within 20 miles which provide good services and variety of shops both local and national. For those who want to get away from it all- you are right- Brae cottage is ideal! Thanks again, Sarah
