Stayed here on Thursday night last week, it was my valentine present to my husband. We both had a lovely relaxing stay. The room was lovely, clean and had a view out towards the river. The hotel is easy to find with ample parking. I didn't use the leisure facilites, spa or pool but plan to when i go again. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the food was delicious. I definitely would recommend it, looking forward to going back myself in the near future.

Poor reception, asked to go and stay in another hotel in Bannockburn because they had overbooked. Turned down for dinner because the restaurant was fully booked. Charged for drinks we didn't have when we left. Won't be back.

Stayed on Boxing day and was really impressed with the hotel. It is of a very high standard and meets the stabdard of the four stars that it has earned. Interior decor is historic, but contemporary and gives the place a lovely feel and this is good as the building has quite a long history. Rooms are spacious and beatifully decorated with a lovely view out over Stirling. There is a lounge with a log fire, a bar and a restaurant. Breakfast was a buffett style. The hotel has free parking for guests. There is also gym, sauna, steam room facilities. An added bonus is a guided tour up to see the old observatory (a must!), which offers fantastic views of the medieval town. Glad to have discovered The Highland hotel and will defineteky be back! Thanks

Had a lovely one night stay for my partner's birthday. Spa facilities are decent but temperature of the pool area was a bit chilly for my liking and jacuzzi not that hot.

Rooms are a good size just a little dated in places.

We had a great meal in the restaurant and all the staff are very friendly & helpful. Nothing is a problem!

Hotel in a good location for exploring what the small town has to offer.
