I have been to the Stirling hotel on numerous occasions. The most recent time was for a mum to be spa day. The treatment was amazing the masseuse I had think her name was Stacey. She was lovely. Made me feel really comfortable. I would highly recommend this package to any mum's to be@

Itison treat from family.. dinner with glass of champagne bed and breakfast use of leisure facilities and late check-out. Car Park is first on left after the hotel building. Reception staff very welcoming as was the lovely coal fire in the lounge! Former Stirling High School is a lively hotel a perfect Highland getaway close to the Castle easily accessed via motorway from the north and south. Our room was adequate maybe in need of a revamp. Friends joined us for dinner and menu choice was excellent first class Scottish fayre and apple three ways sweet was amazing! Spa facilities perfect after a very tasty Scottish breakfast..haggis delicious!

Room tip: Some ground floor rooms near reception overlook car park..upper floor rooms for views of city.

Nice hotel, rooms large, huge bed, staff friendly, plenty parking and good location!
Spa treatment excellent!
The only thing that let this hotel down was the breakfast, coffee nice but the cooked breakfast was dry! All the cooked food seemed like it had been sitting out for a long time and wasn’t very nice.
But other than that it was a good hotel and I would return.

Stayed here with my wife for D, B & B and thought it was a great night away.

The hotel itself is quirky having originally been a school. It could do with a lick of paint in places, but overall was very nice.

The evening meal in the restaurant was lovely, as was the breakfast. Cocktails in the bar afterwards were superbly made by the barman.

The gym is well equipped and the pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room are ideal.

Staff were friendly throughout.

Hotel is within a few minutes walk from the town centre and the castle is nearby too.

Overall, a very nice stay, in a lovely hotel which I would definitely recommend.

We spent night here recently whilst on a road trip throughout Scotland. The hotel itself is in a great location to Stirling Castle which you could easily walk to from the hotel, albeit uphill, but it’s not a long trek. Our room however could use a bit of TLC, without going into too much detail, the room felt like circa 1980. The bed was comfortable enough, however we missed the convenience of a refrigerator in the room, so our cold refreshments were left by the window sill, which was sufficient enough given the temperature outside and the cold draft sweeping through under the window... the most incovenenice of our stay however was the lack of elevator as it was not working during our time there and given we had approximately 60 kegs of luggage between us (we are on a long trip), this was a struggle to climb the stairs with... would stay here again for a night, but not for a long stay.
