Dinner tonight to wish family a great holiday. Our 8 year old was given choice of colouring pages, which were printed off computer. Nice touch. Food was excellent all round. 3 starters, 4 mains, kids meal, 2 beers, 2 cider, 2 prosecco, lemonade total just under £100. Good value.
Plenty of parking. Lift from car park level to bar/restaurant and bedrooms. Staff were really friendly and efficient. If you are in Stirling, enjoy a meal at Cook's. Start at breakfast through to dinner.
We will definitely return.

Visited here on monday evening with 7 friends. Place looked lovely and our table was spacious. Waitress took our drinks order then our food order. Starters arrived abd were tasty enough. An hour passed and no main courses. We asked waitress and she went to check but never came back. Then our sizzling fahitas arrived in skillets. Was told to be careful as hot. Tried a piece of chicken and it was luke warm abd dry. Wraps were cold and hard. We all ate very little then requested the bill where 25% was taken off. Waste of money and would not recommend. I think the other parties in had the same issues

Haven't been to Cooks since 2016 due to slow service and poor food and it seems it hasn't improved.
The waitress was really busy talking to her colleague and took a while to get our food order taken. Starters were fine, but mains were disappointing. The prawn and Noodle main was way too big and looked very unappetising, my fish and chips had undercooked batter, overcooked fish and greasy thick chips, the steak pie was poor too with dry meat and a hard pastry top. Some of us got desserts but they managed to get the ice cream order wrong, it was rectified but no apology.
Thanks best bit was that we realised their was a leak from the ceiling on to our table (and part of our seat), leaving a little puddle. We told the manager who looked at the roof, chuckled a bit and said no more about it! No apology or offer to move tables, he didn't even come back to check lol. All very odd, we won't be back.

Dreadful meal, will never be back. Party of 6 on Saturday evening, I cannot express how terrible the meal was, I would expect the restaurant to be closing soon.

I can honestly say that this was the worst afternoon tea I have ever had. The sandwiches were like doorsteps as the bread was so thick and the fillings were uninspiring - cheese and chutney, egg mayonnaise, ham and tomato. Nothing that you couldn't make at home. The scones were like biscuits and brick hard - see picture. We were not offered any selection of teas or coffee and the service we had was very slow. We made the mistake of ordering two small (125ml) glasses of prosecco and we were charged £5.95 each. Don't go here if you want something a bit special. You will be disappointed.
