Description: The Baytree restuarant is situated in the heart of Tenby's charming Tudor Square. We are open all year around, serving meals and drinks from 11am to 10.00Pm in the summer (please note we operate shorter hours outside of peak season). Our menu incorporates local produce wherever possible including fish caught just off Tenby's coast! Our mackerel and lobster are particular favourites with our regulars. We also cater for vegetarians and have a varied children's menu.At the rear of the restaurant, our sheltered private terrace can seat up to 24 people. During the summer when the town is pedestrianised during the day, we also have tables and chairs out in Tudor Square. We can cater for private parties of up to 100 people and large groups are welcome by prior arrangement.

Dined twice last week, the second time (our last night in Tenby) we wanted to eat whilst live music playing. The restaurant was really full but staff went the extra mile and accepted our booking. They were really busy gaving had a very late 24 strong party so the staff were really hard put to cope. We did not find this out until afterwards because the food and service were still first class. Fresh, local food, cooked well and inventively, definitely recommended. Excellent staff, good value for money.

Very first time for us on holiday without the children ( adults now )
We arrived later then we thought as we were relaxing by the beach.
We was very lucky too get a seat. Lovely Spanish lady looked after us. We ordered our food and drinks. Beautiful food, which was very well presented. All staff were very friendly. Very clean restaurant. Will be visiting again when we are in Tenby again.

We visit Tenby often and have tried this resturant twice now both times as a walk in they had no problem with finding us a table
First Visit we had garlic mushrooms as a starter which i have to say were not to my taste but my husband enjoyed them very much followed by pork medalions which were cooked to perfection with some very nice mxed veg and a sauce to die for
Second visit i had a sweet potatoe and blue cheese soup which was supurb served with crusty bread warmed and my husband had pate served with brown toast and salad for the main course we both had fillet steak with chips for hubby and new potatoes for me served with onions and mushrooms and a side dish of mixed veg and peppercorn sauce which was extra, we like our steaks cooked differently but both were as we requested
the waiting staff were fast and attentive but most importantly pleasant and smiled
i can highly recommend this place and would go again

Mackerel oily. Too many potatoes to make-up for small mackerel fillets. Potatoes cooked in too much butter. A little more thought in the cooking and the food could be fine.

Overpriced. You can do better at The Moorings or The Lighthouse for less money
