As a previous review said it is a hidden gem below a cafe. Would strongly recommend as the food was delicious and the service was 5*. Would definitely go back if we visit durham again.

Following all the good reviews here we decided to have dinner. Conveniently located near one of the river bridges in the old town, located down a flight of stairs. Nice welcome and quick attentive service. Menu is a bit of an East-West fusion and works very well had the belly pork starter and monkfish both of which were excellent. limited but decent wine selection. Overall an excellent meal, very good service and reasonably priced.

What a hidden gem. Tucked away just before the bridge. Super good, the sirloin was fantastic and the staff lovely.
