A lovely smallish site just equidistant between A1 and A19 in Durham. Rural, but near to all amenities and shops just a few minutes drive away. Clean, well laid out and improving all the time. Shop sells just basics, but the café food is mainly home made by Louise Hague, the owner and is delicious. Adam Hague her husband manages the park. A little play park for kids, camping pitches too with hook ups. We stayed in our caravan with friends for a weekend and will definitely make this site a favourite. For those folks wishing to visit the North East of England, this site's location makes it perfect for historic Durham, Newcastle, Beamish, North Yorkshire.

Room Tip: Some pitches are quite large too. Ring up and ask for one.

We we stayed last bank holiday may 18 and absolutely loved it

Kids loved the park and the nature trails and like every site they met some friends and played and enjoyed their stay.

We didn’t stay when the previous owners had the park, but Adam and Louise are brilliant.

We are planning more visits here being August bank holiday we love it that much!

Thanks Adam and Louise! Cu soon!!

we went today whilst in durham with friends our usual place has gone down hill a certain garden centre mentioning no names, however what a treasure of a place strawberry hill farm is, so friendly and welcoming owners, coffee was amazing and the cakes looked superb, breakfast is available to pre-order i suggest everyone tries it if in the area, indoor seating and out door available, also something for the children slide and swings. we will certainly be back thanks again

Room Tip: sun trap in the garden

We’ve had a lovely few days here with children age 8-12yrs. It’s great for riding their bikes and plenty places to run around. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and I’m sure things will get better and better here the longer they have it.... the facility’s are spotless and the coffee shop is great value. It would be fantastic to have a grassy area/field to play in that isn’t just vacant pitches.

Finally I must say that they are just the nicest people who own it and nothing is too much trouble... Thanks
