The rooms are basic but very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was more than adequate. We would definitely stay again. Parking the cars was made easy with passes for the roads around the hotel which the owner kindly let us hang onto for a couple of hours after we had vacated our rooms so we could walk down to the harbour and make the most of our last day. Overall would recommend

Room Tip: The room my sister had at the front on the first floor was more spacious than our rooms on the second floor

We recently stayed at this hotel we has six rooms so 12 people in total. Rooms were spotless staff very friendly especially Fay who was very helpful. Breakfast was excellent all you could wish for in a breakfast. We will definitely be back. Thanks to all the staff for helping my friend have a great 60th birthday.

Room Tip: Choose a lower level if you have walking difficulty

Myself and my girlfriend decided to have a one night away break in the town of weymouth. We always look for somewhere new in terms of accommodation. This hotel was reasonably priced at such short notice. We managed to check in early alongside a pint and were shown our room.
We staying in room 1, room itself and furnishings very refreshed and clean. Ensuite bathroom nicely put together.
We had the free breakfast in the morning, which had a collective menu and timely served. Thanks to the host, lovely straight forward character who watched our bags whilst we spent the other half of the day in the town shopping before our train.
Shall be seeing you guys xxx

Friendly and helpful staff, tasty food and a comfortable room. Staff were very accommodating with our baby and parking. We really enjoyed the breakfasts. Very central for the beach and town. We'll be back!

Great little hotel just off the seafront.nice clean rooms with modern en-suite.The hotel is attached to a pub which is also run by the hotel landlady, Faye, very friendly lady had lots of time for her guests and cooks a cracking full English! We came to visit as we have not been to Weymouth since the 70s and I was happy that it has kept its charm.
I am happy to recommend the Clifton to other travelers you won't regret staying here.
