“Fantastic lodge !”
Reviewed 29 April 2014 for a stay in April 2014

Just returned from long weekend celebrating my birthday with family at Kingfisher Haven and am so happy that I chose Pam.s lodge for our stay. It was a truly lovely place to stay - very comfortable with everything you could possibly need. The site itself is lovely- set in woods with fishing lakes and it was great to see the almost tame deer wandering around. We enjoyed using the sites facilities, the gym. swimming pool and pool tables. - there,s plenty to occupy if the weather isn't so good. Pam was great to communicate with - replied very promptly to my queries - cant wait to return

This was the first time we booked this lodge as previously we stayed in Pam's other lodge the Retreat which is just lovely and as there were seven of us we were fortunate enough to book both of Pam's lodges. We roughly knew what it looked like by the pictures on the website but when we opened the door we were more than pleasantly surprised and just fell in love with it especially as Pam had decorated it and made it so welcoming and cosy just like the other lovely lodge the Retreat. I highly recommend both these lodges as I am sure you would never be disappointed and after one visit you will surely want to book and come back again. Pam is just so helpful and nothing and I mean nothing is too much trouble. So the best compliment we can give is that we are coming back at least twice in 2014!

“Lovely lodge”
Reviewed 26 December 2013 for a stay in November 2013

Had a really nice break with 4 adults and 2 small children. Lodge very smart and a pleasure to stay in. Love the American style fridge too. Grat wildlife on park, saw rabbits, ducks and deer. The deer nearly close enough to touch by the lodge. Would highly recommend.

Entertainment was ok on the site. Didn't enjoy the restaurant but had the away chips which were good. Good fun around the site.

“Fantastic!”
Reviewed 6 April 2013 for a stay in April 2013

Have just returned from a fabulous easter break at at Kingfisher Haven, everything from start to finish was top class (apart from the weather!). The lodge itself is modern, spacious and well equipped with everything you could possibly need for a family holiday. We were so pleased to find that the bedrooms were all a good size and had no problem fitting a travel cot in the 2nd bedroom. It was also refreshing to find the place so spotlessly keen on arrival. The lodge has 2 parking spaces, a huge veranda & a huge american style fridge as well as a travel cot & highchair which was great as we were travelling with small children. The actual park itself is a delight, lots to do for the children, without being too big or too noisy. Our 4 year old had an absolute ball, he went sledging at the snow center, roller skating, tenpin bowling, swimming & took part in the daytime & evening entertainment for the children, he really didn't want to come home! The park setting is beautiful, all the lodges are set amongst the trees which gives the place a really nice feel and there are lots of opportunities for viewing lots of different wildlife (we saw squirrels, deer & all sorts of birds), there is a nice little nature trail to wander round too.
We explored the local area, we went to weymouth, lulworth cove, swanage & monkey world and thoroughly enjoyed all of them, especially the steam train in swanage.
Overall I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this lodge to anyone, the views and the standard of accommodation really are exceptional and Pam the owner is a pleasure to deal with. We will definately be returning to Kingfisher Haven and will be recommending it to our family & friends.
