“Perfect holiday cottage..”
Reviewed 20 May 2016 for a stay in May 2016

We stayed here for one week. Lovely owners who showed us around every room when we turned up after our long drive. They left us some goodies also which we were greatful for. Every room was spotless. Everything is provided for you in the kitchen that you can think of. The property has no washing machine which may be an inconvenience to some and also no garden however the park and the river is a very short walk so this didnt matter to us. Shops and a pub etc nearby. We will hopefully be coming back soon as we have family in the local area and would stay here again. Thank you for a lovely stay!

“Brilliant accomodation & super hospitality by Carole & Ron”
Reviewed 10 May 2016 for a stay in May 2016

The property & owners are fantastic. Everything exceeded our expectations and lived up to all of the previous reviews on Trip Advisor. Its a 5 star rental with the added benefit of great owners who did everything to make our stay just perfect. We will be back, and I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a great stay in the area.

“Best place we have ever stayed in .”
Reviewed 4 January 2016 for a stay in January 2016

We booked this holiday home after many hours going through lots of places for our family to stay to celebrate new year. We are a family of 2 grand parents daughter and son in law and 2 grand children aged 11 and 7 and our family dog .when we arrived we were met by the friendly owner who lives close by .everyone in our party was oooooing and aahhhing while we were shown around . The barn conversion was built in 1997 and clearly shows that a great amount of time has been taken to get it right , the barn itself is in a quiet cul de sac with friendly neighbours . The barn is spotlessly clean with everything you need for your stay , the linen and towels are all provided and beds made up for your arrival . There are features all over the barn beams, doors, and fixtures and fittings make it a picture perfect home . The barn has 3 bedrooms 1 bathroom and a second toilet near to the two upstairs bedrooms . The sitting room is light and airy and has views over the Lake District the barn is heated by central heating and a log burner in the living room. . On the whole it's a place to be considered first if a stay in the area is on your list .The barn has free wi-fi books and DVDs in abundance . We all can't wait to return again .

“Tasteful barn conversion and obliging owners”

We stayed at Twazabarn over the Christmas period to be near family who live in Appleby for the festive season. The barn surpassed expectations. It was well equipped with everything one would need and had been delightfully decorated for Christmas. We were even left presents!! Carole was very responsive when we complained of being a little cold ( we are in our seventies and our blood is running thin ) and when we became used to how the heating operated we were fine. Our daughter and her offsprings who also stayed were happy with the accommodation. We even had the benefit of friendly neighbours. Would definitely stay again if necessary.
