Haven't had a Chinese takeaway in ages, as, in general they're not so good for vegetarians (my wife). We noticed that "Hong Kong House" did a range of of Tofu dishes, so good for her.
We ordered Crispy seaweed, onion rings, vegetarian spring rolls, followed by tofu with sweet and sour vegetables, with me having prawn balls with egg fried rice.
Service was good and quick, but please note that it is cash only, no cheques or cards.
The onion rings were very generous in size and number, but had very little taste and very soft texture - perhaps the onion had been previously cooked (?). Crispy seaweed was ok, but little flavour. Vegetarian spring rolls were nice, but a trifle spicy hot. The tofu was fine and the quantity of prawn balls which I had was generous, but batter was very thick and heavy, concealing any flavour or texture they had.
Again I must stress the "shortfallings" may be down to my tastes, but I wouldn't be looking to repeat the visit.
