“Beautiful and idealic”
Reviewed 29 May 2018 for a stay in May 2018

We had a wonderful stay at mcnean lodge and it is set in such a beautiful location nestled in a beautiful landscape of nature's wonders not forgetting the beautiful lough mcnean approx 2 minutes away with it's own Jerry for boating or fishing. It is ideally situated so you can tour the north or south if Ireland. We would highly recommend it as Gavin the owner was very pleasant and helpful. Beautiful place for a wonderful price. Thank you Gavin and family.

“Beautiful location. Lovely, quiet accommodation.”
Reviewed 15 May 2018 for a stay in April 2018

We spent a lovely quiet week at Macnean Lodge on the shores of Lough Macnean in this scenic part of County Fermanagh. A trip to Mullaghmore on the wild Atlantic coast is highly recommended. The long, unpopulated beach is a good walk and the sun shone brightly on our day there.
Florence Court (National Trust) gardens nearby are a nice way to spend a few hours and Enniskillen Castle filled our time on a showery afternoon. Enniskillen is a 30 minute scenic drive away.

The cottage is spacious and airy and surrounded by well maintained gardens which attract a variety of bird life. On top of all that the cottage is well equipped and good value for a short break or a week or two away from it all. Highly recommended by me and my wife.
