Stopped by on Easter Sunday after looking a dog friendly pub that wasn't packed to the rafters. Didn't have to wait long for a table here despite them being busy. Perfect location on the harbour and wish it would have been nice weather to enjoy the scenery fully but as it was it was a rainy day - still didn't dampen our appetite or enjoyment of our visit here. Staff were busy but still friendly and order taken quickly at bar. Due to it being busy thought we would have to wait but food turn around was extremely quick. Hats off to the chef as it was truly delicious. I had the fish platter and other half had the steak (the dog had the left overs) - cooked perfectly. No faults to be found here. Would definitely recommend you pop in if ever in the area. Cost not too high and got a plateful in return so worth the price.

Stayed here for business. Quite large room. A bit tired. Menu good. Food a bit average. Great location, though. Very busy at night with live music.

The Galleon has one of the best harbour views in Fowey - if you can get a table near the windows or on the terrace. At noon it was quite busy with people ordering food (this was mid-March, not high holiday time) but we were served quickly & the food was excellent. Himself had fish & chips & I had scampi & chips (see photos). We were sitting in a new extension, fitted with some lovely oak doorways. I think I remember this area was part of the lifeboat station when I was a child, before the lifeboat moved to Albert Quay.

Called in for a drink on a trip to Fowey after walking around town, as it was near lunch time we had to have a bite to eat had nachos and cheesy chips also a portion of coujons all came piping hot. Pleasant atmosphere and the waiter was excellent. Would get busy in the summer as had great views. Good selection of drinks including tea coffee etc. Good as any seaside pub.

Popped in for a spot of lunch - although some dishes weren’t great (nachos) others were delicious (squid rings)! The river side benches are awesome for a good view and the service was fine.
