Went here with family for a bar meal, beautiful day so decided to sit in beer garden next to large car park with blue badge bays dotted around, food and drinks are ordered at the bar inside, choice of a couple of menus, one ran all day with a lot of choice on it although bear in mind it’s pub food and that’s what you get nothing fancy. I ordered a ploughman’s from their summer specials menu, I must admit it was a variation I had never seen before, two large pickled onions, small pot of a chutney, apple, few bits lambs leaf, thin slice of cheese and a slightly larger piece of soft cheese, soft bread roll and a strange sausage roll, in as much it was about two half inches round and about an inch and a half long, cutlery is on table or not as the case may be as we had to go to different tables to get ours, would I go back not sure if I would for a bar meal but I have heard their Sunday lunches are excellent.

It is a pleasant enough pub/restaurant with a nice ambience.

Meals are on the pricey side for what is basically pub grub. Nicely presented and properly cooked. Crust on steak pie rather thick and tough however.

Pleasant staff.

This was the first time my wife and myself have visited this pub on the recommendation of our grandson.
It was to celebrate the birth of our first great grand daughter and we really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food.

I have been to the Ravensworth on numerous occasions recently. Although the food is good enough, it is nothing special and is really just 'pub food.' Very expensive menu for ordinary food and coffee. However the ambience and service is very acceptable.

Thank you for your comments and we are really pleased you enjoy your visits ,
Unfortunately we are part of a huge chain and all I can do is put comments forward to our marketing and food division regarding the price and the menu.
But thank you again and hopefully we will see you again soon.
