We stayed in corner beech house for 2 days in early july. It was a superior b&b, our hosts were friendly and very welcoming. The standard of cleanliness was second to none, i highly recommend to anyone in the area wanting a fabulous base.

Me & my boyfriend stayed here for Valentines Day.

The hosts were so lovely & welcoming. The room we stayed in was spacious, clean & had a gorgeous sea-view. Every room also has a sofa, en-suite (walk-in shower, no baths), TV and DVD player and they have a DVD library which is an added bonus.

We went to the Pheasant Inn (just a couple of minutes drive from the hotel) for dinner which had good service & nice food. Not masses to do in the area so probably wouldn't recommend staying for more than 2-nights.

Breakfast in the morning was fresh & delicious.

Looking forward to our next visit!

Our daughters booked us in to this B&B. They couldn't have chosen a better place if they tried. Karen and Peter are the best hosts we have ever met. The room we had at the back of the house was very clean, large enough for 2, bathroom was well equipped. It has a big walk in shower, heated towel rail and gorgeous fluffy towels. The breakfasts were large, well cooked, lots of choice, Karen bakes fresh muffis. Location was far enough away from the centre but close enough to walk to eateries. There are plenty of places to eat. The whole weekend was wonderful, Peter and Karen added to it. Thank you.

Room Tip: Any room would be a good room

Have just returned from two nights stay at this lovely hotel, and like previous reviewers , cannot fault it.
Karen and Pete were very welcoming, the room (which was a sea-view room) was really comfortable, with coffee/tea making facilities and bottles of spring water provided; Karen even brought us a jug of fresh milk when we arrived so we could have a brew!
Breakfast was delicious, full Cumbrian followed by some fantastic chocolate brownies and Portuguese tarts made by Karen

Room Tip: Lots of steps, up to the hotel and then up to first and second floors.Rooms 3 and 6 are seaviews

Two American friends were visiting us and we wanted to spend a couple of days in the Lakes, decided on the Corner Beech and we were all very impressed by the cleanliness of the rooms, facilities and the fantastic breakfast. Owners very helpful with tips where to eat and how to get to places, would have no hesitation in recommending!

Room Tip: We didn't have a sea view which would have been a bonus but were perfectly happy with the room.
