Owner description: Few wedding venues in the world can match the breath-taking approach to Harlaxton – a straight, mile-long drive across an ornate lakeside bridge, under a gatehouse to the towering, fairytale façade that is Harlaxton Manor. It floats like a vision at the end of its avenue, set amongst 300 acres of formal gardens and mature woodland. This iconic Manor House offers unparalleled views over the Vale of Belvoir in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Charmingly English, the Manor is the perfect venue for a truly romantic wedding. We can cater for a wide range of weddings – from an intimate civil ceremony and reception for 30 guests to a large evening celebration for 350 in our magnificent State Rooms. We offer the very highest levels of professional service and, because we only operate on an exclusive-use basis, you will feel very much at home in these beautiful surroundings. Harlaxton Manor is owned and operated by Harlaxton College.

A most extraordinary and stunning building in splendid grounds. A must visit for anyone interested in architecture. Visit marred by driving through Grantham a motorists nightmare.

Easy Parking and a walk guide provided by an attendant at the start point.
Entry is free. Only open 3 Sundays in the year with today the 7th of May being the first with the bluebells providing a magical carpet of colour. There is a short walk approximating 20 minutes or a longer one of 50 minutes. There are some inclines but not too arduous.
No refreshments were available afterwards but nearby Grantham can provide.

We stayed two nights while visiting the Manor. What a wonderful old building. Our son is spending his Spring semester studying here and it is truly a special place. What an experience!

I went to school for the last part of my semester in Grad school and loved it!! It's beautiful!! This place is like a hotel/dorm set-up so some of the questions don't apply. This is a sister property to the University of Evansville in Evansville, Indiana

Went here to a wedding wow what an amazing building. It has one more window than Belvoir House. Definitely going to go to it when they have an open day. Drive way up to Manor very grand.
