We arrived late evening at cherry tree holiday park on Friday 16th March and we departed Saturday 24th March.
We went straight to reception to see if our accommodation was ready, the very nice lady on reception made us feel so welcome and checked and then proceed to book us in which we was given the keys to 522 which was a 2 bedroom lodge roughly 10 minute walk from the main complex, we have stayed on site before but never on this part before which was lovely and quiet.
We went into the shop next to reception to pick up some basics and we was presently surprised to find most things at fair prices.
When we moved into our lodge it was very clean and warm and also had a big decking around half off it but would have been nice if the lights had worked on the corner poles but we still had the 2 outside ones near the doors.
We had problems one night when we rtd around 10pm as the power had tripped out and also 2 street lights so we called security on the number given and they was brilliant as they arrived in 5 minutes, he checked the supply in and the fuse board which was all ok so he had to call the emergency electrician out whom had it all sorted by 11.30pm.
All our evenings were spent in the main complex starting with excellent meals in the coast bar/restaurant all at reasonable prices and of course I must mention the excellent carvery on a Sunday priced at £9.95.
We spent Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening in the showbar with visiting cabaret's on Friday and Saturday plus quizzes, children's entertainment and late night hub yes not over busy but still enjoyable.
During midweek Monday to Thursday the showbar was not open as with not many on site the entertainment team;
Adam Kaufman (Ents Manager)
Ali Noon (Assistant Ents Manager)
Rachel Hadley & Claire Swift
Put on a more low key entertainment like Quizzes and general interaction getting the few people to join in and we even got a game of bingo on one night ok just a line plus full house but really enjoyed plus Rachel & Ali each still put a singing cabaret on and both excellent.
The Friday night the showbar reopened as a lot more guests/owners arrived so a full programme was put on.
But I must stress the entertainment team this year made this holiday for us by just speaking to us not like most parks we go to as they just talk to certain people.
I do wish parkdeanresorts would start up a trouper page like Haven so you can keep up with what's going on with the troupers and parks as you are not allowed to be direct friends with any off the staff as stated in there contracts.
Anyway Thank-you very much cherrytree holiday park for a fantastic week as we did not want to leave, hopefully see you soon.
Ps; let's hope the same team return next year, because if that could have been gaurenteed I would have booked again.

Lovely caravan, lovely park, great entertainment team. Really made my little girl feel special.
The coast restaurant was lovely with accommodating our special requests with the menu. Our food was lovely so was the staff there.
The only let down was that we forgot our towels ( I know silly us) but I thought I would try reception and asked if they could help us out even with the one towel and us leaving a deposit!! But the answer was a flat no. I couldn’t believe it one towel that’s all we asked for!!!! So it’s really put a damper on what’s been a lovely couple of days.
Come on parkdean you really have a lovely park. Maybe this could be a future thing you do a hire of things out or even have the option of it when you book to have towels supplied.

What a lovely, friendly place. All staff were fab, everywhere was clean and there was a nice, safe feel about the place. The children were thoroughly entertained by the Troupers, special mention goes to Ali, this guy totally knows how to interact with children, even the shy ones. We only used the Coast for a breakfast and coffee. Didn't think the prices were too bad and the free WiFi was very quick. Swimming pool was very warm which made up for the terrible weather outside. The caravan was well equipped and clean. The on site shop had the basics but there is a Co op or a small Tesco down the road and a Tesco Extra less than 10 minutes away. When asked about our stay on leaving the manager at reception took time to listen and cared about the small issue we did have. We will definitely be back.

Stayed at Cherry Tree in February 2018. Nice park, very clean and great staff!! The only thing that let us down was the caravan... paid for a platinum but got a gold, curtains were ‘falling off’ bed was not as comfy. Definitely not got my money’s worth. Food in the coast was over priced, you pay a lot for a small amount. Entertainment was really good enjoyed the dances and bingo... and of course a good drink. Staff were very friendly! Would recommend.

Over the years I have stayed in numerous parks with my partner and Cherry Tree is up there with the most preferred, the entertainment area is spacious with a lot of seating for the guest and the troupers even though they were half term seemed like they knew what they were doing, even when certain parts of the act didn't go to plan the trouper called Scott did a good job in going along with it and "freestyling". The coast bar was spacious as well however the food let it down, it was over priced for what you got and would not recommend. The caravan we stayed in was good but not the best as the curtain rail was hanging off a little and some of the plates and cutlery were dirty from previous guests. All in all I would recommend this park however in my opinion would opt out of going to the coast restaurant.
