I go to the gym here which is good very clean and alot of equipment. Although some of the machines the displays don't work so when you trying to keep track on the calories it can be a little difficult. I've took my kids to the pool a few times they love the pool. However the changing rooms are very outdated and smelly. Overall is not a bad place just needs a little work put into it.

We visited the inflatable fun session at the swimming pool.

We weren't informed that unless your children are strong swimmers they can't go on the inflatable, (as you may fall into deep water).

The area for non-swimmers is very small during these fun swim sessions and they are timed, (max. 90 minutes), from when you join the queue until the end of the session.

We were really looking forward to going on the inflatable session but we were arrived 30 minutes before the end of the session (our fault) the lady on reception offered a solution, why didn't we come back at 4:30pm and we can swim until 8pm if we wanted too, the wave machine and slide will all be open so kids would still have a good time. So we ore booked our tickets and paid then came back at 4:30pm, what a waste of time, the pool was half shut off as it was being used for training and lane swimming so our 12 yr old son asked if he could do some Lane swimming so we told him to go in the lane swimming section as the half of the pool we were in kids were playing and it would be better to go in the quiet section, he lifeguard blew his whistle and told him to get out as he wasn't 18!!! I mean what does that matter if he's not 18? We were watching him he wasn't messing about just swimming like the other people in there! I asked a lifeguard as did other people when the slide wasn't open and we were told there wasn't staff to man the slide and he would be going for his break soon and then he had to cover reception. We then asked another lifeguard he told us it wasn't on only in the fun session which is not what we were told, he was really lovely and said he would see what he could do and he did good he got the wave machine on twice and the slide opened twice also, I felt some of the lifeguards were above their stations doing pull ups on their viewing chairs and constantly blowing their whistle or swinging it around telling kids not to do this or that, just not an enjoyable time so won't be going back‍♀️.

We came during the afternoon, our children had a lovely time. The pool was clean and the viewing area had plenty of seating. I felt it was a little pricey to enter but we had promised the children a swim. The baby pool has a slide and the main pool had a flume however it was not open. The wave machine was really enjoyable and made the swim more fun.

We spent under 30 mins in the pool with our children on Saturday morning. In that time we discovered half of the pool was closed and the wave machine wouldn't be coming on, so we got out. Was not informed of the restrictions at the desk when paying. Had we known, we would have enjoyed the beautiful local beeches instead. When we asked for a refund the Manager refused because it an hour had passed since we paid for entrance even though most of that time had been spent waiting for service and getting the children undressed/dressed. He went on to accuse us of trying to enjoy a swim for free. We do not recommend this pool for anyone because of the lack of care shown for us as customers.
