Visited following seeing it on Gardener's world, impressive planting of perennials and grasses, but this is a small garden and does not take long to walk round it, not worth £3.50 admission in our opinion, seen better gardens as part of the National Garden Scheme and at least that money goes to charity.
The plants in the nursery are on the expensive side too.

Saw this on gardeners world and decided to visit. The garden wasn't as big as I thought it would be , but when wandering around the layout and planting made it feel huge. It was crammed with flowers and sort of dis-organised, yet it felt like everything was well placed. It was inspirational and of course led to me buying far too many plants! will go again without doubt, probably a little earlier in the year to see different blooms.

Located on a steep hillside, this nursery has some lovely plants to see and buy. The nursery is well stocked with good quality plants, some of which are unusual and certainly plants you would not find at an ordinary garden centre. So if you are looking for something different, then this could be the place to visit.
There is a smallish car park, toilets and a 'make your own drink' section which adds to the idiosyncratic nature of this nursery. They grow all their own stock and have an excellent knowledge of their plants. You can tell that this is a labour of love.
The gardens cost £3.50 to visit (the proceeds go to the NGS on a Friday) and they are worth it as they are beautiful. Layed out in wide tiers, they are full of perennials and grasses (the plants you can buy in the nursery) and they are stunning. They certainly gave me lots of ideas and inspiration. Well worth visiting.
