Visit Blackpool to see a real pier! Lowestoft South Pier was truly dreadful! Takes 2 minutes to see the whole thing! Won’t be going back!

Interesting place oldie woldie feel to it Had a nice little shop with craft type things Had a water clock that looked quite old but worth a look Had seating area some of it was sheltered from the wind and although it was November it was very pleasant in the sunshine. Had an interesting museum type place with old amusements some of them I think people had made up so they were unique They were coin operated Thought it was highly entertaining would recommend a visit there was a man renovating one on the machines he was quite helpful and the staff in the shop were nice to.

Lowestoft town is the most easterly point of Great Britain, situated on the Suffolk coastline facing the North Sea. The area has a nice promenade with this pier and other attractions, bars restaurants and hotels.

THe pier is basically a pub, a chip shop and some amusements, but you can stroll to the end of the pier and look out to sea. If you like fishing then take your rods and set up along the pier and see what you can catch.

There in an amusement arcade and no other buildings on this pier. The arcade is OK and it's a pleasant stroll to almost the end of the pier. You can fish from the side that isn't the harbour.
