Lovely hotel, great position on the seafront, close to the town and pier. Breakfast was good, room was nice, comfy bed. Only 2 things i could fault and that, was the staff could have been a bit more friendly and £190 for 1 night for 3 in 1 room was a bit extortionate. I would stay again but if it was a bit cheaper.

Stayed here at the weekend with my partner, daughter and my terminally ill sister who has special needs and uses a wheelchair!
We should have looked into the hotel more, didn’t realise it catered for dogs, not really a problem but the carpet floor in our room was covered in dogs hairs and we have asthma and my sister has breathing problems so wasn’t ideal!
We asked for a family room suitable for wheel chair access and when we got there ,were sent to a room down a few corridors ,up a few steps and then up two flights of stairs,so we asked for another family room as my sister couldn’t walk up the stairs, the next room was ok,nothing special for £210,again,although there was a lift, the room wasn’t really suitable for wheelchair access and especially if there’d have been a fire ! The toilet seat was hanging off and the ceiling made the room look cheap!
Didn’t get a good nights sleep because there were people running up and down the corridors for what seemed like ages!
Breakfast was ok although you had to wait for them to replenish when items ran out!

hi many thanks for taking the time to write a review and we apologise for any shortfalls .we are a family three star seaside hotel ,we are disabled friendly having a ramp and wheel chair into the hotel along with disabled toilets ,we try our best with the rooms some having walk in showers .and appropriate grab rails .we doo not have purpose built disabled rooms .as this was the busiest weekend of the year and the hotel was extremely busy and full steam ahead for all the team .cheers from all the team at inn on the prom.

The rooms definitely need better soundproofing.. the noise from slamming doors, wild children and dogs is quite loud. The flushing of toilets, showers, creaky floorboards adds the experience. The bar area is very good, the seating is new, very high standard, bar staff were good. As the hotel was full breakfast was busy.. small wait to get hot food.. staff were busy.. double busy.

Having visited Lytham St Annes for the first time we chose this hotel due to the great reviews. Check in was ok,the receptionist wasn't the friendliest. After seeing the photos of the rooms expectations were high. We as a family of four were put in a room 40, which was through a rabbit warren of corridors and stairs both up and down at the back of the hotel. No help with luggage, no lifts! The room was a good size and on first impressions, quite pleasant. However, it was tired and outdated, with very soft and uncomfortable beds. The bathroom wasn't the cleanest and again dated furniture. However the worst was the heating, it was so hot! The thermostat we turned down but still was baking thus no sleep (also due to the uncomfortable bed. The car parking situation was awful, I had to park on the road as the car park was full through inconsiderate parking and just a lack of space.
Breakfast was good though with the number of staff, you would expect them to be more responsive on collecting things from the tables and providing tea and coffee top ups. A disappointing experience all in all.

Room tip: Closer to the front, not at the back
