We visited today and normally our visit is fantastic but today we visited and was very quiet so I ordered some drinks
So I visited the church and my dad came in he was a little upset as the table next to him was tajen and a family csme in and bought their own drinks and food in and was a little loud too.
This was my dad's first day out in over a month as he is recovering from a heart attack and took all I could to get him to come out as he was so afraid to come out
So we ended up leaving without ordering food and my dad left his 3 bottles of Becks.
Because of this today has pushed him back from leaving the house.
Not too happy today as my family tried everything to get my dad to come out and when we did this happens

Good food at great prices. Lovely fire to sit beside whilst drinking an early morning coffee which can be topped up again and again.

As prefabricated as they come. OK if you need a quick, cheap meal but not if you want chef-prepared food or coffee that doesn’t come out of a machine.

The pub was warm, the log fire burning brightly as we entered, although busy, as we expected, not crowded or noisy. We found a comfortable niche table straight away. Perused the special menu, made our choices and I went off to order our meals at the bar. I was attended to almost immediately, table number, one chicken and rib combo, one sirloin steak (medium rare) one dough sandwich sweet and one chocolate brownie sweet and two pints of our favourite lager Kroneneburg. Total £20.00. I returned with our drinks. Mains served at our table in just a few minutes. A more than adequate plateful, chips were sizzling hot and the meal delicious. the steak was med- rare spot on. The sweets delivered on request by a passing waiter, were to die for. Excellent. Our table was cleared as we left and another party arrived. Well done Wetherspoons, great atmosphere, great food, lovely staff always trying to be helpful, approachable management and what superb value. Lang may yer lum reek.

Went for steak night, 13/2/18 asked for blue steak but can't do it, but was given what I asked for, really fantastic service, lots of " how is your food?" Felt really relaxed, so ordered another pint on spoons app and got it within a minute. A must place in tavistock.
