We’ve been to a few piers around the country. It’s always nice to have a little stroll to the end. There’s a nice but expensive tea room at the end. Sadly they do not cater for coeliacs.

There is a lovely little tea shop at the end of the pier for beer, tea, coffee and cold drinks. They also do a lovely range of cakes.

With the glorious June weather a walk along Worthing Pier before breakfast is a great stroll in the morning sunshine.

Yesterday whilst in worthing we visited the pier which is well worth visiting. The pier has a long history of damage caused by fire and storms the story of which is explained in glass panels on the pier. Also the history of the fishing industry is explained as well. The pier itself has had a lot of renovation work carried out and is in very good condition. There are plenty of seats on the pier where you can relax and enjoy the views.Very popular place and has several eating places as well.

This pier had a wonderful makeover a few years ago and its Art Deco Interior Design has really brought it back to life with a nostalgic twist of yesteryear embracing modern times.
A lovely stroll along the pier with awesome fresh sea air enveloping your senses and when you reach the furthest point you can treat yourself to Tea and Cake or Coffee and a Sandwich or have a brunch/lunch either indoors or outdoors, weather permitting of course.
There is sometimes entertainment from Art expo to Pianist and Singers and you can even hire to have a party there too for what ever your celebrating, weddings etc.
Plus you can see views of Brighton and Goring and of course the now infamous windturbines.
Dogs can walk along the pier on a lead but l am not sure about inside the cafe but you can enjoy a coffee with your furry companion outside.
Enjoy Sunny Worthing with its Mediterranean climate, young or old, its too good to miss ;)
